The more you drink the worse the problem is likely to be. You should either stop drinking or reduce the amounts you take.

People with excess weight have a lot more tissue on the muscles to the back of the neck that keeps the airway open. The excess tissue will cause the muscles to collapse into the airway even if there is a slight relaxation of the muscles.

Losing weight is one of the best ways to reduce the risk of sleep apnea. It is much more cost effective than going for surgery or any other kind of medical intervention.
